Neptunes again dominate ASA Swimming League

Neptunes’ successes in waterpolo and swimming in recent years are the envy of the other clubs. Last year our male and female performers in the pool again dominated the routine events, including the special swim meets, the time-trials and the Malta championships organised by the ASA Swimming Board. We also had a fair of successes in overseas international meets.

Another feature of the Maltese swimming season is the league in individual and team categories, something which is attracting increasing interest in general, with prizes being awarded for the top places every season.

In these last years Neptunes have topped almost all individual categories in this league, as well as finishing in the highest spot in the team rankings for the four seasons in a row since the start of this league. The indefatigable head coach, Gail Rizzo, and the club’s other coaches have all played a major role in this extremely successful stint and thanks to these mentors our club is far ahead of the others as the rankings below show.
