Club Presidents

Below are the presidents who guided our club through thick and thin from 1929 to date.

The longest-serving president so far is the founding father Alfred Gauci. He served the institution he originated for 17 years, between 1929 and 1946. Next in line with 15 years comes Wilfred Mamo whose leadership ended tragically when he was lost at sea in 1990.

Wilfred was elected president in September 1975. Angelo E. Debono follows suit with 14. He served in this position between 1959 and 1963 and 1964 and 1974.

Three presidents, Loris Manché, Angelo Debono and Joseph Psaila were voted for a second time after being earlier temporarily relieved of the post.
