Neptunes WPSC has had a Swimming School for over 35 years making it one of the pioneers to promote this discipline on the island. The main aim of the swimming school is to teach children between the ages of 3 and 15 the correct basic swimming techniques. These techniques are essential for all young athletes aspiring to further their skills in any water-sport like swimming, water-polo, synchronised swimming or triathlon. Participants are split into groups based on ability giving special emphasis to correct breathing and basic stroke techniques whilst keeping the lessons fun.
Junior Squad (ages 10+) and Top Squad (children ages 13+) are a natural progression from our Swimming School. Our primary role at this later stage is to perfect technique and increase the swimmers’ strength and speed. At the same time we endeavour to impart good team work, correct social and educational values as well as discipline.

Coach Monique Mangion presented a donation to the Ladybird Foundation on behalf of Neptunes Summer School at the end of the 2017 summer season.
